This hardcover book with 318 full color pages presents more than two hundred glazed glasses produced in Switzerland, between the first quarter of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century.
They testify to a widespread popular taste in Central Switzerland.
The book traces the production of enameled glass since the birth of the workshops active in the center of Europe (From the northern Alps to the south of Germany) from the 18th century with the installation of the Siegwart brothers in Entlebuch in 1723, which marks a turning point in the history of Swiss glass inaugurating the establishment of several similar companies in the region.

L'ouvrage retrace la production des verres émaillés depuis la naissance des ateliers actifs au centre de l'Europe (du nord des Alpes au sud de l'Allemagne) dès le XVIIIe siècle en passant par l'installation des frères Siegwart dans l'Entlebuch en 1723, qui marque un tournant dans l'histoire du verre suisse inaugurant l'établissement de plusieurs entreprises similaires dans la région.
